But if you don't have any original content and Google sees that your content is merely rehashed content (or 90% similar to 1000s other websites), then you can't expect to get a lot of web traffic to this approach

My site produces mostly original articles, though we accept (or used to actively accept author submissions). Since we rank well in our niche, I find our pages where we published these authors' submissions to get better rankings in the search engines for other websites or even the authors' own websites

Have something unique and original, then add a little of these free articles. But 100% free articles, that will get you nowhere

Every day just do whatever your daily action plan is don't worry about tomorrow, just get today's action plan done. Make this a routine task. Somedays (not to many please) you might not do it, don't worry just do it the next day (take two days off every week, rest your mind do something else)

Review every month (if possible weekly), and compare your plan to your results. This will keep you on track. Once this becomes a routine you will be well on your way.

Home on MLS (AZ) - Anyone heard of "Live Free Investment Group" in Arizona?

I have been speaking with Alan Campos who is the President and CEO of "Fairway to Heaven Investments, LLC" and he has a partner named Brian North of Live Free Investment Group, they handle the short sale division of his company. Alan himself is not a realtor so legally he can talk to me as a home owner with a house currently listed on the AZ MLS through a Realtor. We are trying to do a short sale on our home in Arizona and we have had no traffic looking at the house in the last 2 months. This company will make us an offer today and we will go through the Short Sale process with the bank to see if they will approve or not. Alan contacted our realtor (that we have a listing contract with) to discuss handling the process from here including all the paperwork, negotiating with the bank and the offer will be made today. Of course my realtor will not get the 3% sellers listing commission (which is only $3,000 or less since the house is on the market for $100K), but instead this company is offering him a referral bonus of 25% at the closing of everything. My realtor told them no and that we will find a buyer and that we are not interested in going this route without speaking with us first. We have not spoke to our realtor yet, but Alan did call me back yesterday to say that our Realtor is not looking out for our best interest right now by not considering this deal. We have no offers let alone people looking at the house so going this route only makes sense.
Before we approach our realtor with our thought on wanting to go this route, I would like to see if anyone has heard of this company or done business with them. Is this a good decision to make. Also Alan has explained to me that we would be putting our home in a trust, which would allow them to market our home to their investment buyers while we are waiting for the banks decision. This way when we close in a few months they have a buyer lined up that will buy it from them after our closing date is complete. Alan said we still own the home and we are not signing it away to them or anything like that. Has anyone ever heard of this also? I just don't want to get scammed and I only want to go this route if it will all work out. Looking for help???
P.S. If I can have the deal done without putting our home in any kind of trust, what is everyones thought then?

Any Ideas for a Road Dust Block?

I live on a dirt road in NW PA that gets a lot of auto traffic and kids with speedy 4 wheelers, hence a lot of dust in the summer. I need to plant something along a 500 foot stretch of the road that will grow to about 20 feet, be thick with leaves to ground level and hopefully block the majority of the dust from wafting into my home. It should grow quickly and be relatively economical. Any ideas out there?

I'm doing a Disney princess theme room for my work for Halloween. The problem is I don't really know what kind of activities or games I can do that are Disney princess related. I need something easy that can entertain kids and can also accommodate several children. Last year our school saw over 600 kids. So I need something that can be fun and entertaining but also move traffic and is inventive. Please help me!

Cinderella's Glass Slipper
Make a "glass slipper" before the party, using silver spray paint or glue and glitter, on a high heeled shoe. You will also need an old, tattered shoe for game time. Position the girls into a circle. Pass the shoe around the circle while music is playing. Ring a bell to signal the stroke of midnight. The player holding the slipper when the bell rings, receives the old shoe to hold, while sitting in the middle. She is then in charge of the bell ringing for the next round. At the end of the game every player receives a Disney Princess prize; necklace, ring, Disney Princesses fruit snacks etc.

Snow White's Poison Apple
Little princesses need to find the poison apple, before Snow White
takes a bite!
Before the party, tie a green ribbon around the stem of one red apple.
Hide that apple with several more apples around the party space.
To play, simply explain to the children that Snow white is going apple picking and one of the apples is poisonous. Can they find it? If you want to add more poisonous apples, just tie more ribbons around the stems.

Who Am I
Before the party, place stickers of Disney Princesses on several 3x5 cards - one Princess per card. To play, tape the cards onto the girls backs, so that they cannot see their own Princess. The object of the game is to identify which princess is on you back, by asking yes/no questions of the other players. Example:
Does my princess have brown hair?

Dance -- Freeze
Inform the girls that Sleeping Beauty's evil step mother is threatening to FREEZE the entire Kingdom!!! When the music starts, they begin dancing???until the "Evil Step Mother" (adult) stops the music. At which point, they all freeze. Repeat this several times.

The Princess is missing her favorite things!
Place several items on a tray or cookie sheet. Try to find items that work with the theme; tiara, lipstick, wand or royal scepter, silver spoon, jewelry, handkerchief etc. One player leaves the room. Remove one or two items from the tray. When the player returns they must guess what's missing. Repeat until every child has a turn.

Princess Puzzler
Before the party, print out Disney Princesses pictures from the Internet, or use a coloring book. Attach each picture onto some construction paper with a glue stick. Cut the pictures into 2, 3, or 4 puzzle pieces. Hide the pieces around the party area. The girls each need to find one puzzle piece and then find the the players with the matching piece/s.

Ideas for one-off PE lessons?

I'm doing supply in primary schools and am struggling to find/think of one off PE lessons for kids from reception to Year 6. There's normally no planning in place for PE so I have no idea where the kids should be on the sylabus, therefore a one off lesson is the best option. I'm okay for warm up (traffic light game) and have tended to do relays in the past (teams) but I could do with some alternative options. Does anyone have any ideas for fun one-off games or actiivities or suggest some decent websites with ideas on?

First answer is pain, the second is the muscle in the eye is weak.

Without the sensation of pain, people are more prone to more serious types of injury. Pain is usually a signal to stop what we're doing that's causing it, before we really hurt something...like with burns, muscle pulls and sprains, and head aches

the eye muscle's weakness affects the contraction of lens in the eye, making it hard to focus on objects futher away..

It stands for "combination" -- in this case, of "n" things chosen "k" at a time, so the expression "n choose k" for the number of ways of picking "k" events out of "n" events. In your example,
11C5 = 11! ? 5!(11 - 5)!
= (11/1)*(10/2)*(9/3)*(8/4)*(7/5) = 11*3*2*7 = 462
so P(X=5) = 462*(0.3)^5*(0.7)^6 = 0.132

I have been a fan of SpongeBob Squarepants for years and think that the depth of the characters is one of the things that really makes this show work. Ever since I heard Mr. Lawrence say (in an audio commentary on the Season 1 DVD's) that Stephen Hillenburg based the 7 main characters on the 7 Deadly Sins, I couldn't help but be very fascinated. I think I've figured out which character is each one.

1. Sloth-Patrick
Sloth is the sin of laziness, or unwillingess to act. Obviously this is Patrick. He lays under a rock all the time and doesn't really do anything. In fact in the episode "Big Pink Loser" he got an award for doing nothing the longest.

2. Wrath-Squidward
Wrath involves feelings of hatred and anger. Squidward hates his life, usually hates SpongeBob, and is pretty much angry most of the time.

3. Greed-Mr. Krabs
Obviously Mr. Krabs is greedy and desires money. How could Greed not be Krabs? He actually sang about the power of greed in "Selling Out".

4. Envy-Plankton
Plankton is envious of Mr. Krabs because The Krusty Krab is a success while The Chum Bucket is a failure. His envy drives him to try to steal the Krabby Patty secret formula.

5. Glutony-Gary
I actually think this one is pretty funny. Did you ever notice the running gag in Spongebob where they say "don't forget to feed Gary" or Sponge says "I gotta go feed Gary". Gary even ran away that time when SpongeBob forgot to feed him. Glutony usually refers to the overindulgence of food so I'm guessing this one fits him pretty well.

6. Pride-Sandy
Sandy takes a lot of pride in who she is and where she comes from. She takes pride in the fact that she is from Texas and likes to let everyone know it. She also takes pride in the fact that she is a mammal and a land creature, like in the episode "Pressure" where she tried to prove land critters were better than sea critters.

7. Lust-SpongeBob
Ok, I know what your thinking. It does seem a little weird and curious at first but I have given it a lot of thought. Lust in one definition is "excessive love of others". I think this one works best for Spongebob. He shows his love of others with his overeagerness to do good and help people. If anything is true about SpongeBob its that he loves everyone around him, even if they don't exactly love him back.

You are pretty damn smart for being able to come up with this. Who would have thought that the characters off of Spongebob Squarepants fits so closely to the 7 Sins? It makes sense.

It's almost like with Full Metal Alchemist: Brotherhood, but the 7 sins in Spongebob was unintentional, I think. Spongebob is a loving character, Sandy is a proud character, Gary is usually fed too much for a snail character (well, he certainly can eat a lot anyway), Plankton wants revenge for not being successful, Mr. Krabs makes money in ANY way possible and NEVER spends it, Squidward can never seem relaxed or happy around Sponegbob or any one in particular, and Patrick is the most lazy and dumb character I have ever seen.

I just got one question though.... What's this question doing in the Video Games section? XD

Shouldn't this question be in the Comics & Animations section?

Well for starters, Origin Forme has a different look from Altered Forme, but the true differences is that Origin Forme has a higher ATT base than the Altered Forme, but the Altered Forme has a slightly higher Def base than the Altered Forme. In my opionion, if you want a powerful wall (and probably the strongest physical wall in the game), go with Altered Forme giratina, if you want a decent tank (good ATT and Def), go with the Origin Forme, but note that the Origin Forme cannot hold a useful item like choice band or life orb because its already holding the item that keeps it in Origin Forme, so go with Altered Forme

According to a recent webinar I listened to business expenses have to have a business purpose
Corporations are able to make donations that do not exceed 5% of their taxable income
how are you filing the LLC, as a corp, a partnership or sole proprietor?
And unless you purchased two programs, the one you bought will not handle the LLC,as a corp or partnership

Doing a partnership return is a bit more difficult than a individual return. You can give it a try so you know how difficult it will be.

You can download the 1065 forms from www.irs.gov to see what they look like but to undestand all the available deductions (like Section 179 on Form 4562) it would take a while to get up to speed. Turbo Tax can accelarate the learning process.

Also, if you have a small business it may make sense to go to a CPA in order to have an advisor for other things. For instance, payroll and other business related questions like insurance.

In our state we imposed rent controls 10 years ago to help the poor with more affordable housing, and apartments available for rent disappeared from the market for some mysterious reason. I spent 6 years on a waiting list and still my turn never came. To tell you the truth almost all vacancies are filled either through bribes or nepotism.

One week ago our Governor imposed price controls on health care insurance premiums to help the poor with more affordable health care, and policies available for purchases disappeared from the market for some mysterious reason.

Larry McCann answers:

You have the wrong perspective on government assistance. Many cities have public housing waitlists for 10 years long like Los Angeles but there are waitlists for Section 8 vouchers that are another program. That usually takes 4 -5 years. Rent control was not for poor people. It was aimed at preventing price-gouging by unscrupulous owners who could rent for more money but the regulation did not eliminate housing units it enabled middle income people to have housing. If you are middle income you can apply for some programs. The new health insurance plan which helps everyone to be insured starts in 4 years.

Over the years, there has not been enough affordable housing units built to keep up with demand as the economy has put more people into the poverty class. Price controls help everyone except the wealthy. If insurance companies don't issue as many policies, that shows you they are greedy and single-minded and have no social conscience. Price controls don't help the poor because they cannot afford anything to begin with and have their own programs.

There has to be a balance between government interference in private business for social justice, and letting the private market function with wild abandon. Government has limits on its powers. It does not always work out to make everyone happy. We have economists and cost accountants who figure these things out. Otherwise you'd have a country with no laws and no functioning government.

Can I deduct the points paid on tax refund?

I received a 1098 and it has an amount listed in box 2 under points paid on purchase of principal residence. I just bought the house in August and this 1098 came from the bank I originally bought the house through. They only held the account for one month and sold it to another bank as they do not hold mortgage accounts for longer than 1 month. It also has amounts in the interest received and the mortgage insurance premiums. Any advise?

Yes they are deductible on schedule A if you have enough to itemize.
Your total itemized deductions should be more than your standard deduction to benefit you. You can claim on schedule A such things a medical expenses in excess of 71/2 of you adjusted gross income,mortgage interest and points, property taxes, sales tax or state and local income tax., Charity,and unreimbursed employee business expenses in excess of 2% of your adjusted gross income.

I was told that I need to call my in-laws to ask them for a receipt for the headphones, which I did and they don't have anything (it has been 9 months). I was told I need to figure out something else to provide proof that I had a passport. Is this legit? What can I do? It seems like they are making me out to be the criminal. I have had the same insurance company for my cars and homeowners since 1996 and have not made any claims on either policy! The federal government keeps records of the passports that they issue. They can look up the passport number in their computer and verify that it was issued to you.

Also, you should immediately report the theft of the passport to the federal agency that issues them, so that they can flag it in their computers to ensure that anyone attempting to use it to enter the U.S. Gets stopped.

The only restriction is that if either of you are ineligible that person cannot claim any of it. The other could claim the entire credit though since you are not married to each other.

I'm wondering if this is any relevance to us and how we should (if we should) go about claiming it. Would just 1 of us be able to itemize it....or would we both have to split it and itemize it? (I believe if we split it and itemize it, it would come out to less than a standard deduction).

If you both paid the house payments equally you can split the deductions. If he paid all then he deducts all. This is probably better anyway since splitting puts you below the standard deduction. If his SS number is on the 1098 form this should be no problem.

There has to be a balance between government interference in private business for social justice, and letting the private market function with wild abandon. Government has limits on its powers. Try it!, even go into a high end department stores linen section and ask the sales person to show you the difference.

Does this seem reasonable that this will add up to be million dollars in 30 years, with inflation? I was thinking of about 300,000-400,000 before using these calculators.

Term or Term ROP?

We have almost decided against Term ROP and to go with straight term, but are not final on this decision. What do you all think about ROP? With ROP, do we typically actually receive ALL of the premium, or are there any fees etc. subtracted from the refunded amount? Also, does ROP term insurance give you investment returns in addition to the amount of premium you paid? One of the reasons that we are leaning towards straight term is that with our current age, with 20-30 year policies, the likelihood we?ll actually be using the ?death benefit? would be moderately high ? then ROP won?t be such a good deal, as well as hearing that if we just get term and invest the difference in the premium, we?d be ahead of term ROP.

How long?

In this case, should we try to get a 20 year term (for while our son will be with us), or 30 year term, just to cover the full length of the mortgage, although I wouldn?t need that much coverage towards the end of 30 years (our son will be with us for only 20 more years, our mortgage will be paid off except for last 10 years or so)? Or buy 25 year return of premium term policy and pay 5 more years of mortgage using the money we receive from return of premium? Or buy two term policies - a large amount of 20 year policy plus a smaller amount (to cover the remaining mortgage balance in the last 10 years of mortgage)?

Also, would we be able to buy term insurance online from these companies, and have guaranteed conversion and renewal (are these the two things I need?) (when purchased online)? - without going in to the agent's office or having an agent come to the office? One visit for health assessment is fine. We just can't have that many appointments while comparison shopping.

InsurancePickle.com, are you referring to State Farm or Geico when you say not to buy life insurance from a auto insurance company? Could you (or someone else) tell me what would be the disadvantage if I did? Thank you!
To all respondents: Please give me guidance on how to find an insurance agent (not tied to a specific insurance company). Would an online agent like Lifequotes.com, where I can talk to a live person if I'd like by calling an 800 number, be OK?

You can locate an independent agent by typing in your zip code at the agent locator tab, at www.iiaba.net, to answer your last question first. Sorry, I'm hitting them in opposite order! Online life insurance agents are going to deal with many areas of the country, and probably won't be as familiar with LOCAL options, as a LOCAL agent. Plus, you might get shuffled around the call center, to get to an agent licensed in YOUR state.

I'm not Pickle, but I can tell you State Farm has some of the HIGHEST life insurance rates around. They JUST aren't very competitive.

A million dollars is reasonable.

Regarding those four companies that popped up at the top of the list, sure, check them out - but all it means, is that they PAID to be shown at the top of the list. That's pretty much what you're going to run into, with online rate comparison sites - you'll be steered towards the company that pays the webmaster best.

When you buy insurance online, you can usually do the entire transaction by mail, except for the paramedical exam. And you won't get that, until you've PICKED an insurance company, submitted an application, along with a deposit amount. THEN they'll "verify" your rate for you.

I'm not a fan of ROP term, and I think I explained that in a prior question, in detail.

Look, if you want an "online" experience, I had a pretty good one, at Zander Insurance, and they're licensed in all 50 states. But you've got enough questions and concerns, that honestly, wouldn't you like to be able to develop a relationship with ONE agent that has an office near you, where you can drop by if you have questions or problems? Additionally, with young children involved, maybe it might be worth it to spring for a fee based financial planner, instead, who ISN'T going to try to sell you anything, and will give you TRULY unbiased advice.
